چکیده

In this paper, we consider the H∞ controller design problem for both continuous-time and discrete-time linear time-invariant (LTI) systems via low order dynamic output feedback controllers. The existence condition of desired H∞ controllers is expressed as a feasibility problem of a bilinear matrix inequality (BMI) with respect to a coefficient matrix defining the controller and a Lyapunov matrix. To solve the BMI, we propose two sufficient conditions which result in linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), by using a block diagonal structure of an equivalent matrix of the Lyapunov matrix in the BMI.

Design of H Congestion Controller for TCP Networks Based on LMI Formulation

In this paper, a state feedback H¥ controller is proposed in order to design an active queue management (AQM) system based on congestion control algorithm for networks supporting TCP protocols. In this approach, the available link bandwidth is modeled as a time-variant disturbance. The purpose of this paper is to design a controller which is capable of achieving the queue size and can guarantee...

Robust Fuzzy Gain-Scheduled Control of the 3-Phase IPMSM

This article presents a fuzzy robust Mixed - Sensitivity Gain - Scheduled H controller based on the Loop -Shaping methodology for a class of MIMO uncertain nonlinear Time - Varying systems. In order to design this controller, the nonlinear parameter - dependent plant is first modeled as a set of linear subsystems by Takagi and Sugeno’s (T - S) fuzzy approach. Both Loop - Shaping methodology and...

Delay-dependent stability for transparent bilateral teleoperation system: an LMI approach

There are two significant goals in teleoperation systems: Stability and performance. This paper introduces an LMI-based robust control method for bilateral transparent teleoperation systems in presence of model mismatch. The uncertainties in time delay in communication channel, task environment and model parameters of master-slave systems is called model mismatch. The time delay in communicatio...

An LMI approach to H∞ controller design for linear time-delay systems

We develop an output feedback H, control design method for linear time-delay systems based on the linear-matrix-inequality (LMI) approach. A sufficient condition for the existence of H, controllers of any order is given in terms of three LMIs. The condition is valid for both singular and regular problems. We also give a characterization of H, controllers in state space. The LMI existence condit...

A Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) Approach to Robust Model Predictive Control (RMPC) Design in Nonlinear Uncertain Systems Subjected to Control Input Constraint

In this paper, a robust model predictive control (MPC) algorithm is addressed for nonlinear uncertain systems in presence of the control input constraint. For achieving this goal, firstly, the additive and polytopic uncertainties are formulated in the nonlinear uncertain systems. Then, the control policy can be demonstrated as a state feedback control law in order to minimize a given cost funct...
